| Description: |
Wisconsin in Washington provides a unique opportunity to learn more about the federal funding and procurement process, upcoming requirements, current trends, legislation, policy and priorities. It is also a great opportunity to get connected with the people and agencies that make the funding and acquisition decisions. Additionally, you will be able to make yourself known to your congressional representatives and their staffs. These connections are incredibly important. Becoming part of the Federal business community is critical to your success.
Business owners who have attended in past years have called Wisconsin in Washington highly effective in connecting owners and managers of Wisconsin companies with key contacts in government agencies.
The Wisconsin Institute, which organizes the annual Wisconsin in Washington trip, has been credited with a steady increase in the amount of federal dollars flowing into Wisconsin via contracts with businesses in the state. This year's Wisconsin in Washington gathering will include sessions with Federal Agency procurement and granting representatives, Wisconsin political representatives, International Government representatives, regulatory representatives and advocates for Wisconsin businesses.
