Description:
The Federal Government spends about $525 billion each year - the State of Wisconsin spends about $2 billion each year.

If the Government is not your customer - consider the opportunity.
If the Government is your customer - improve your capabilities and gain a competitive edge.

This workshop will teach you the basics of what you need to do to make the Government your customer, learn and understand the different registrations, certifications and how to conduct your market research in a marketplace that is often confusing and riddled with acronyms.

In addition, this workshop features Shawn Lacina, Contracting Officer with the Lake States Acquisition Team (LSAT), U.S. Forest Service in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. LSAT is responsible for all acquisitions over $25,000 in the four National Forests in Wisconsin and Michigan. Learn what it takes to contract with the U.S. Forest Service as well as what major projects are coming up on the horizon!
