The Tri County Economic Development Corporation and the Wisconsin Procurement Institute are hosting the second in a series of workshops designed to assist Central Wisconsin manufacturers interested in doing business with the Department of Defense.

This workshop will focus on businesses that are considering subcontracting opportunities with Defense Prime Contractors. They will learn how to research potential business partners, determine if they qualify as a potential subcontractor, and learn how to market their capabilities. Contract administration responsibilities and various teaming arrangements will also be discussed in detail.

Bill Capelle,  a successful Defense Manufacturer from Wisconsin will be the keynote speaker. He will provide insight into what it takes to get through the maze of Department of Defense contracting.

The discussion will touch on the paperwork involved, computer software, quality control, and packing and shipping requirements. There may also be opportunities for future partnering. This is a great opportunity for small manufacturers to network. Breakfast will be provided at no cost.
