Baldwin, Ribble: Replacing Littoral Combat Ship could be good for Marinette Marine

The Littoral Combat Ship program is being replaced, and Senator Tammy Baldwin (D-Wisconsin) and Congressman Reid Ribble (R-8th District) both tell Action 2 News this may be a good thing for Marinette Marine.

U.S. Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel announced late Thursday afternoon he accepted a Navy recommendation to replace the LCS with a new small surface combatant ship (SSC), which is based on the LCS design.
