SUMMARY:Acquisition Hour: Overview of DLA DIBBS
DESCRIPTION:The DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) is a web-based application that provides the capability to search for\, view\, and submit secure quotes on Requests For Quotations (RFQs) for Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) items of supply. DIBBS also allows users to search and view Request For Proposals (RFPs)\, Invitations For Bid (IFBs)\, Awards and other procurement information related to DLA. \nParts manufacturers targeting the Department of Defense (DoD) have a significant opportunity with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). DLA is the Department of Defense’s largest logistics combat support agency\, providing worldwide logistics support in both peacetime and wartime to the military services as well as several civilian agencies and foreign countries. \nDLA is responsible for nearly every consumable item used by our military forces worldwide. This includes fuel\, medical supplies\, aviation requirements\, land and maritime weapon systems spare parts\, construction equipment and material\, and critical troop support items involving food\, clothing\, and textiles. DLA also procures depot level reparables. Last year DLA spent billions in contracting for products and services. \nSpeakers: Jean Polka\, Wisconsin Procurement Institute (WPI) \nThis webinar is eligible for 1 CPE credit. \nTo view a schedule of all upcoming webinars CLICK HERE
