DESCRIPTION:When your business submits a quote through the Defense Logistics Agency’s DIBBS\, you are not just quoting a price.  You are also indicating that you have an understanding of the full requirements and obligations that will come with the award. \nBusinesses bidding on manufactured parts and related items of supply should read and understand the DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY (DLA) MASTER SOLICITATION FOR AUTOMATED SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITIONS prior to submitting a bid. \nBeginning in October\, 2017\, on all automated solicitations and awards\, the mandatory FAR and DFARS provisions and clauses cited in the DLA Master Solicitation for Automated Simplified Acquisitions started appearing on automated solicitation and award documents. \nThe master solicitation is used for mandatory DLAD clauses\, conditional FAR/DFARS/DLAD provisions and clauses\, and procurement notes. In the event of a conflict between mandatory provisions and clauses explicitly cited in the automated solicitations and awards and those located in the master solicitation\, part II\, subpart A\, the mandatory provisions and clauses cited in the automated solicitation or award will take precedence. \nWhen manually issued solicitations and/or awards reference the DLA Master Solicitation for Automated Simplified Acquisitions for mandatory and conditional provisions and clauses\, and the procurement notes\, those provisions\, clauses and procurement notes are incorporated by reference and have the same force and effect as full text. \nWhat will be covered in this session: \n\nOverview of the DLA Master Solicitation which is referenced in E-Procurement Automated Simplified Acquisitions\nDiscussion of the FAR’s\, DFAR’s\, and Procurement Notes that are part of the Master Solicitation that will apply to your contract\nThe evaluation factors for awards\nOther relevant and important information\n\nSpeaker: Jean Polka\, Wisconsin Procurement Institute (WPI) \nThis webinar is eligible for 1 CPE credit. \nTo view a schedule of all upcoming webinars CLICK HERE
