SUMMARY:Summer Cyber Reboot: Computer Security Incidents
DESCRIPTION:WPI’s Cyber Friday webinar series is shifting temporarily to Thursdays for the summer months. \nPreparing for and responding to Computer Security Incidents with a focus on contract compliance \nYour computer is down – the network is down – now what? Hopefully\, you have paper copies of all needed plans\, policies\, response contracts and phone numbers. If not\, the issue may just have become more involved. Companies might say “it will never happen to me” but unfortunately\, most likely it will. This webinar will help DoD contractors to put requirements of DFARS 252.204-7012 into perspective and identify action items. It will allow participants to take a step back\, observe common issues and understand how to initiate planning for the worst case. This webinar will provide an overview of the common steps – preparation\, detection\, handling an incident and coordination and information sharing used in developing response plans. \nSpeaker: Marc Violante\, Wisconsin Procurement Institute \n  \nThis webinar is eligible for 1 CPE credit. \nView a schedule of all upcoming Cyber Friday webinars. \n\n
