The Center for Cyber Defense been designated by the NSA as a “Center for Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education.” The goal of the CAE Cyber Defense Education program is to reduce vulnerability in the national information infrastructure by promoting higher education and research in cyber defense and producing professionals with cyber defense expertise. Additionally\, the Cyber Range has been established to help industry partners simulate real-life cyber security events\, so they are better prepared for a future of cyber uncertainty.
