SUMMARY:Navigating the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) - TKO Webinar
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a comprehensive webinar designed to help defense contractors\, subcontractors\, and suppliers understand and prepare for the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program. CMMC is a Department of Defense (DoD) program created to protect sensitive unclassified information shared within the defense industrial base (DIB). Compliance is becoming a mandatory condition for new and existing contracts\, making it critical for your business’s future. \nIn this webinar\, our experts will cover: \nCMMC Fundamentals: An overview of the CMMC 2.0 framework\, including its three tiered-levels—Foundational (Level 1)\, Advanced (Level 2)\, and Expert (Level 3)—and the types of data (Federal Contract Information and Controlled Unclassified Information) that determine your required level. \nThe Final Rule and Key Timelines: We will break down the latest updates to the CMMC program\, including the final rules published in the Federal Register\, and discuss the phased rollout and effective dates for new contract clauses. \nPreparing for Certification: Learn how to scope your environment\, conduct a gap analysis\, and implement the necessary cybersecurity controls based on NIST standards. We will also discuss the different assessment requirements\, including self-assessments and third-party certifications. \nMitigating Risks: Gain insights into how CMMC affects cyber insurance and learn strategies to avoid legal risks\, such as False Claims Act violations. We’ll provide guidance on how to develop a CMMC compliance roadmap to ensure your business is prepared. \nThis is a must-attend event for any organization in the DIB that wants to remain competitive and secure its place in the defense supply chain. This session is free. \nRegistration Link: https://www.zoomgov.com/meeting/register/mgGlUPmBS6C1prFrA99YUA \nTo learn more\, click here.
