It is important for firms to make sure their marketing materials are updated and specifically designed for their Federal Market Customer. Business cards, capability statements, websites and their marketing pitches should all be customized to the Federal Government.
Thing to consider:
- Target the Market – Agency? Prime contractors? Partners?
- Target Introductions – Small Business Liaison Officer (SBLO), end user, contracting officer, potential partner
- Prepare Marketing Materials – capabilities statement, website, business cards, pitch, your Government Point of Contact (POC)
- Include – DUNS, Cage Code, contract numbers
