Lockheed Martin Corporation Court Date Set For January 20
On January 20, Lockheed Martin Corporation (NYSE:LMT) will appear in front of the United States Court of Federal Claims in support of its motion to halt ongoing activities conducted by Oshkosh Corporation, for the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV). Both parties have until February 1 to provide all the necessary documents regarding the case, with a decision expected sometime in the middle of February.
In December, Lockheed not only filed a complaint in federal court over how the contract was awarded, but also filed a motion to stop Oshkosh (NYSE:OSK) from proceeding with the project until the matter is resolved in court. Following this, the Government Accountability Office (GAO) dismissed Lockheed’s complaint, saying that it has to “dismiss the pending protests on the basis that the matters at issue are the subject of litigation before a court of competent jurisdiction.”
