SUMMARY:Water Industry Workshop and Procurement Seminar with the World Bank - Milwaukee\, WI
DESCRIPTION:The U.S. Commercial Service\, in collaboration with The Water Council and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC)\, has organized this unique opportunity to meet with World Bank officials. \nIn addition to learning about water-related procurement opportunities through World Bank-financed projects and recent World Bank procurement reforms\, water industry sub-sector roundtables will be offered with World Bank officials. \nRoundtable participants will help identify recurring procurement problems in Bank-financed projects in the water sector and suggest solutions to achieve improved procurement and development outcomes. \nOne-on-one meeting opportunities will be available in the afternoon with World Bank officials\, The Water Council\, Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation\, and U.S. Commercial Service representatives (including our colleagues on detail to the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank).
