SBA wants to help gay businesses win more government contracts
The Small Business Administration is teaming with the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce to help LGBT-owned businesses win more government contracts.
That’s one of the main focuses of daylong training sessions the two organizations will hold, beginning March 2 in San Francisco. Similar sessions will be held later in Los Angeles, Sacramento and Atlanta, with more cities to be named later.
The training initiative, called LGBT Business Builder, will bring together resources from SBA offices as well as NGLCC affiliates.
