Acquisition Hour: The 8(a) Business Development Program

The U.S. Small Business Administration’s 8(a) Business Development Program is a powerful resource designed to help socially and economically disadvantaged small businesses gain access to the federal contracting marketplace. This nine-year program offers specialized business training, counseling, and set-aside contracting opportunities to help firms build capacity and compete more effectively for federal contracts.
