As a Federal Contractor it is critical for you to understand the Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS) which collects and maintains Contractor’s Past Performance Information. Past performance is now one of the most important selection criteria in Government contracting. It is critical for the Contractor to review the comments and ratings for timeliness and accuracy. Contractors should be aware that there may be an opportunity to modify results with the assessing official and possibly shape the performance evaluation.
