Last year the federal government spent almost $600 billion and the State of Wisconsin about $3 billion on manufacturing, construction, technology, R & D, good and services.  This market is not for everyone and the barriers to entry can be a bit steep, but with an understanding of how it works, determining where you fit and how to identify and locate good opportunities, the government can be a very good and long term customer.
