In September of 2015, $4.5 billion was purchased through GSA schedules and small businesses were able to capture over 50% ($2.5B) of this total. With this amount of potential spending activity taking place in just one month it is easy to see that as a GSA schedule holder, you have a significant year-end sales opportunity.

GSA schedules provide federal buyers with an efficient and cost effective method to purchase goods and services.   BUT as with any multiple award contract, the buyer has choices.   Successful GSA schedule holders generally have identified their most likely customers and have gained a better understanding of their requirements. Their schedule information is kept current and they know their competition.
