Event Description:
Success in government contracting relies heavily on a company’s capabilities and knowledge of programs and resources. The Bailment Program helps DOD to maintain a healthy contractor base by establishing an alternative pathway by which a contractor can be recognized as an approved source of supply and/or manufacturer.
This program enhances competition, lowers costs and improves lead times. What makes this program unique is that it provides domestic business concerns an opportunity to purchase or borrow replenishment parts from the Government and reverse engineer them in order to become recognized as an alternative source supply.
