Event Description:
Once you have been awarded a Government contract, and are starting production and delivery, tracking and reporting your progress is KEY to meeting the requirements of the contract AND getting paid. Contracting officers, government inspectors, your customer and your internal management will all need timely information on project status. Important and accurate information such as promise dates, delivery dates, UID/RFID, ship to locations, invoicing and payment are critical to meeting your contract obligations.
You don’t necessarily need a pricey custom project software package. During this session we will share with you a typical tracking tool and related reporting mechanism created by the widely used Microsoft Excel that can help you better manage your projects.
Speaker: Mark Dennis
Bio: Mark Dennis is a Wisconsin-based contracting professional who has managed military reset and supply contracts, for customers such as the U.S. Army and Defense Logistics Agency. Most recently he has been a Program Manager for Case Construction, at Fort McCoy, WI.
