As a Federal Contractor, it is important for you to understand the Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS), which collects and maintains your past performance information. Knowing the process and management of CPARS may be critical to you winning the next contract you are bidding.

Past performance is now one of the most significant selection criteria in Government contracting. It is necessary for you to review comments and ratings for timeliness and accuracy. You should also be aware that there may be an opportunity to modify results with the assessing official, and potentially shape your performance evaluation.
