How does a federal requirement become set aside for Small Business, WOSB, SDVOSB, 8(a), or HUBZone?
Small businesses responding to Sources Sought Announcements may impact the contracting officer’s decision on the type of set aside that will be used for the solicitation.
Contracting officers use Sources Sought Announcements as part of their Market Research to look for small businesses to meet their requirements. Based on the Market Research, contracting officers may limit the type of businesses eligible to respond, which increases the chance for the small business to receive an award.
This webinar will cover:
- Responding to a Sources Sought Announcement
- What to do after you have responded
- Using the FBO Interested Vendor List to your advantage
