This presentation is recommended for any business that is interested in becoming a SBA HUBZone certified business. The Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone) program helps small businesses in urban and rural communities gain preferential access to federal procurement opportunities. Currently many Federal agencies and many Federal Prime contractors are NOT meeting their HUBZone goals – a possible opportunity for your business.
Also, effective October 3, 2016 – the regulations governing the HUBZone changed to add additional qualifying geographic regions including disaster areas.
Topics include:
- RECENT CHANGES TO THE HUBZONE PROGRAM
- Benefits of an SBA HUBZone Certification
- Requirements for a HUBZone Certification
- How to apply for the SBA HUBZone Certification
- HUBZone Certification Cost
- How long can you keep a HUBZone Certification
- How to renew your HUBZone Certification and Cost
- Locating HUBZone Opportunities
- How to Market your HUBZone Certified Business
