This session will provide attendees with an update on federal wage-hour laws to help employers maintain compliance with Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, Service Contract Act and Fair Labor Standards Act provisions. A particular emphasis will be placed on the application of these laws in the construction industry. The session will offer guidance on a wide range of topics including prevailing wages, completing certified payrolls forms, the correct payment of overtime and the tests used to determine if an employee should be classified as exempt.
