2017 Industry Engagement

This announcement is released by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Acquisition, Logistics, and Construction (OALC), Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), Eatontown, NJ, to notify industry of an Industry Engagement Event on June 20, 2017, from 8:30AM – 12:00PM.

The objective of the Engagement is to provide our industry partners with an opportunity to meet with, and hear from both TAC contracting professionals and VA’s Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU). The event will be conducted in a small group setting with various topics discussed to include proposal best practices, OSDBU and OI&T presentations, and a TAC Contracting Officer (CO) question and answer panel. In-person participants will receive a hardcopy of our FY17 year-end requirements. These requirements will also be posted online for all participants before the event. The event will conclude with an informal networking session. Please submit your questions in advance for the CO panel to the mail box.

To support Veterans and the TAC’s upcoming visits to our local VA Medical Centers, we are asking local participants to donate toiletry items (travel sized or full sized items). Donation bins will be available at the reception stations upon your arrival.

Cost & Registration:

There is no cost to attend this event or to view the live video stream; however, pre-registration is required. You can find the online registration form here:

Presentation of email confirmation will be required at check-in. Registration is limited to one attendee per company for the live event, and will be accepted on a first come, first served basis until capacity is reached.

While pre-registration is required for the live video stream, there is no per company limit on registrations. The link for the live video stream will be sent by email to all registered at least one day before the event.
