The Huntsville AL US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) will be hosting a FACILITY SUPPORT INDUSTRY DAY WEBINAR CONFERENCE in support of a large upcoming requirement.  This event is scheduled for February 2 2017 11:00am Central Time.  The Wisconsin Procurement Institute (WPI) will be hosting the Wisconsin session of this event at the Technology Innovation Center (TIC) in Milwaukee.

A bit about the opportunity:

This opportunity targets facility support to all the Army Reserve bases in 19 states.  The targeted NAICS codes are NAICS 561720 – Janitorial Services, NAICS 561730 – Landscaping Services, NAICS 562111 – Solid Waste Collection.  

A bit about the US Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville

Overview:
The U.S. Army Reserve’s 88th Regional Support Command (RSC) covers 19 states, 272 locations and more than 1,100 facilities. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ 88th RSC Program Management Office (PMO) at the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville:

• Receives all mission tasks from the 88th RSC; assesses USACE core competency to complete the tasks; and assigns the execution of tasks to the appropriate execution agent (within USACE, the Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), or others) possessing the technical expertise and resources to execute and oversee the fulfillment of the requirement/mission.
• Provides Army Corps of Engineers geographic districts the opportunity to execute tasks within USACE core competencies. Provides the MICC the opportunity for all non-USACE core competency requirements.  Assists 88th RSC in finding service providers for all other requirements.
