From WAWF to credit cards aka – Getting paid faster with less hassles! That’s right, the government has ditched paper invoices and “real checks” in favor of electronic payment systems. Vendors enter their invoice and include (enter or attach) other required information and upload to the site. As a result, you benefit from reduced errors which means reduced processing times and therefore you receive your payments quicker. DoD’s Wide Area Work Flow system and credit cards generally have the most name recognition but these are only two methods being used. Registering in the System for Award Management and including your banking information is a required step Unfortunately, this is the just the first step. This webinar will provide information related to getting paid as a federal vendor. It will include an overview of the Prompt Payment Act, what constitutes a proper and complete invoice and will highlight many of the different payment systems used by various agencies.
