SAME Tour of the USACE Lakefront and Ravine Restoration Project at Fort Sheridan

Please join the SAME Chicago Post and the Lake Michigan Post for a joint tour of the USACE lakefront and ravine restoration project at Fort Sheridan.  Robbie Sliwinski (Biologist) and Jeff Fuller (Hydraulic Engineer), USACE, will be presenting.  The meeting will start at 11:30am at Maria’s Bakery, 410 Sheridan, Highwood, IL for lunch and a brief project introduction, followed by the field trip at Fort Sheridan, nearby.  Parking is available adjacent to the restaurant on the street or in the municipal parking lot.  Because construction is underway at Fort Sheridan, all visitors should bring safety boots, hard hats, and vests.  We will bring extra safety gear in the event that some participants may not have these items readily available.
