U.S. ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS CHICAGO DISTRICT INDUSTRY DAY AND ELECTRIC BARRIER COMPLEX SITE VISIT

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-Chicago District will host an Industry Day at the Chicago District Office, 231 S. LaSalle Street, Chicago, IL 60604 on January 28, 2016 showcasing $80-$90 million in contracting opportunities for FY16-FY18; regulatory highlights, program overviews, and a networking event. Additionally, on January 29th, there will be a Site Visit for Architect, Engineering, and Construction professionals to the Electric Barrier Complex (Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal Dispersal Barrier) to observe and share technical information on existing electric barrier technology. Firms with demonstrated expertise with the following NAICS Codes are highly encouraged to participate on January 29th: 237990 — Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, 238210

— Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors, 541310 — Architectural Services, and 541330—Engineer Services.
January 28th: Arrive at 8:30 AM CST to gain entry to the conference area. The Opening Session will begin promptly at 9:00 AM, and conclude by 5:00 PM.
January 29th: The Chicago District will provide mandatory round-trip transportation to the Electric Barrier site. Detailed instructions will be provided.
