The U.S. Coast Guard will be hosting an FY17 Industry Day Event in support of the following USCG HQ Directorates: Human Resources (CG-1), Assistant Commandant for Marine Safety Security and Stewardship (CG-5), Force Readiness Command (FORCECOM), Assistant Commandant for Capability (CG-7), Planning Resources and Procurement (CG-8) and Assistant Commandant for Acquisition (CG-9). The USCG HQ Industry Day Event is designed to promote a meaningful exchange of information so that Industry can gain a greater understanding of Coast Guard needs, and USCG can gain an expanded awareness of industry capabilities. The event will include CGHQ Office of Contract Operations (CG-912) Procurement Team updates of anticipated requirements for the upcoming year, followed by respective break-out sessions for one-on-one discussions including Q&A’s in reference to specific Acquisition Planning Forecast System (www.apfs.dhs.gov) opportunities. IMPORTANT Registration Information: Businesses must send a single email request (only one per company) to HQS-PF-fldr-CG-9124@uscg.mil, including all requested company attendees (no more than three (3)), by midnight EST, Jan 23, 2017 providing each person’s (1)name, (2)SSN, (3)DOB, (4) citizenship and (5) company name. Options for encryptions are: Microsoft Office; WinZip 2.0; and Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro. This information is required for security purposes – email requests containing incomplete/inaccurate information (i.e., name, DOB, SSN,etc.) will not be processed and no notification will be issued. Individual substitutions will not be processed – however businesses may submit a replacement list (identifying all requested attendees for the business) IAW above procedures and date. Only the latest list submittal will be considered for attendance – USCG HQ will confirm reservations back to businesses via email address used to submit request for attendance.

Parking: Parking at USCG HQ building can be requested at Security Check-In; limit one vehicle per company. There is a maximum of 150 parking spaces. Parking spaces will allocated on a first come basis until exhausted. Valid driver’s license, registration, and insurance card are required. Attendees can also park at Anacostia Metro Station, DC from which the A4 Metro Shuttle Bus provides a quick (10 minutes) shuttle to/from St. Elizabeth Campus (approx. $1.75 each way – cash or Metro Smart Card accepted.)
