- Plan to arrive early as all participants must go through security screening and be issued a visitor’s badge. Once a session has begun, attendees will not be permitted entry until it has ended. Security screening is very similar to airport security and many of the same rules apply: a state or federal government-issued photo I.D. is required; no firearms, knives or sharp objects, or hazardous materials are permitted; all bags are subject to search; and metal belts, jewelry, etc. must be removed before passing through the metal detectors. It is illegal to attempt to enter a federal facility with weapons, explosives, incendiary devices, and illicit drugs.
