Acquisition Hour: Using the Federal Procurement Data Systems (FPDS)
January 29, 2019 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
The Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS) is a resource that can help you to identify new markets, and new customers. FPDS data can provide a better understanding of what the federal government is buying, when they are buying and how they are buying.
Have you ever wondered if being a GSA Schedule contractor makes sense – really makes sense? Or, have you wondered which agency or agencies your competition is selling to and what they are selling? Do you have a new product and/or a service and would like to see if there are federal opportunities?
These are only a few of the questions that FPDS data can help to answer.
This webinar will provide an overview of
- The data and various tools that can be used to access the data – ezSearch, Standard Reports and adhoc Reports
- How to analyze the data using MS Excel’s Pivot Table tool
Speaker: Marc Violante, Wisconsin Procurement Institute (WPI)
